Airport

 

Guangzhou-Baiyun International Airport

 

The terminal is divided into 2 parts: A district and B district

A district is for international flights and domestic flights except Southern Airline.

B district is for Southern Airline and its subsidiary including Xiamen Airline and Chongqing Airline.

Location: Renhe Town, Guangzhou City, Guangzhou Province

 

Distance to city center: 28 km

 

Transportation to city center:

 

Airport bus

There are nine airport buses from airport to downtown, departing every 15 – 30 minutes. The price ranges from 15 to 30 Yuan according to the distance.

From Foshan Lanshi Terminal to Baiyun Airport: 5:00 – 21:00

It departs every 30 minutes and takes about 70 minutes to arrive. The price is 30 Yuan

 

From Shunde Daliang Terminal to Baiyun Airport: 6:00 – 18:30

It departs every hour and takes about 80 minutes to arrive. The price is 55 Yuan. This bus will have a stop at Beijiao Terminal.

 

Taxi

It takes about 45 minutes from city center to airport and costs about 150 Yuan.

 

Metro

Take Line 3 from the Guangzhou Airport (Airport South Station) to the Guangzhou downtown area. The train leaves every 7 minutes from 6:10 to 23:00 and the ride takes about 45 minutes.

 

Railway Station

 

Beijing – Guangzhou railway is the backbone of China North and South Railway Traffic. Besides, there are Guangmao railway line from Guanzhou to Guangmao and GuangMeiShan railway line from Guangzhou to Shantou. The two railways connected the East and West transportation of Guangzhou.

 

Guangzhou Railway Station

 

Guangzhou Railway Station is the main railway station in Guanzhoug which has various trains in different cities.

Location: West Road, Yuexiu District, next to the bus station, opposite to the Liuhua Hotel

Transportation:

By subway: Line 2 or Line 5

 

Guangzhou East Railway Station

 

Guangzhou East Railway Station mainly operates trains from Shenzhen and Shantou.

Location: Linhe West Road, Tianhe District

Transportation:

By subway: line 1 or line 3

 

Guangzhou South Railway Station (high-speed rail)

 

Location: Shibi Village, Zhongcun Town, Fanyu District

Transportation:

Distance to city center: 20 km

By subway: line 2

 

Bus Station

 

There are more than 10 bus stations, there coaches go to different cities and countries every day. The coach leaves every 10 – 15 minutes. Some countries have through train, such as: Nanhai, Fanyu, Shunde, Zengcheng

 

Direct bus between Guanzhou and Hong Kong

 

They are: Gangzhonglv, Chinalink, Shenggangtong, Huandaotong, Suigang, Yuegangtong, and Hong Kong International Travel.

 

Suigang Bus

 

The bus is navy blue. It does not stop halfway and takes about 3.5 hours.

Location: Get on: Dashatou Cruise Terminal (406, Yanjiang East Road,)

Get off: Austin Intersate Bus Terminus (next to Victoria Harbor)

Ticket price: One-way ticket is 85 Yuan and round-trip tickets are 150 Yuan.

From Guangzhou to Hong Kong: 6:30、7:00、7:30、8:00、9:00、14:00、16:00、18:00

From Hong Kong to Guangzhou: 7:30、8:00、8:30、9:00、14:30、18:00、19:00、21:00

 

Zhonggangtong Bus

 

There are many stations between Guangzhou and Hong Kong. The price of each station is different. It takes about 3.5 hours.

Ticket office: Guangzhou Agency (751, Dongfeng Road, Yuexiu District)

           Zhonggangtong Travel Agency (11, Jotun North Street, Kowloon)

Hong Kong Kowloon Station: Exit C

 

Guangzhou Province bus passenger station

 

It covers Pearl River Delta, eastern、western and northern of Guangdong and other 10 cities in Guangzhou, as well as Guangxi, Hainan, Hunan, Hubei, Fujian, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Liaoning, Shanxi and other provinces outside Guangzhou.

Location: 145-149, Huanshi West Road, Yuexiu District

Transportation:

Distance to city center: 20 km

By bus: take bus 5, 523, or 524

 

Yuexiu South Bus Station

 

There are coaches arriving at cities in Guanzhou, Guangxi, Nanchang, Shaoxing, and Xi’an and so on.

Location: 2, Yuexiu Southern Park, Yuexiu District

Transportation:

By bus: line 10, 17, or 19

 

Guangzhou East Railway Station

 

The bus route covers Foshan, Dongguan, Shenzhen and other 24 districts.

Location: 43, Yudong West Road, Tianhe District.

Transportation:

By subway: line 1 or line 3

 

MTR

 

MTR provides intercity passenger service between Hong Kong and mainland. There are 3 direct buses including Beijing Line, Shanghai Line and Guangdong Line.

 

Dock

 

The passenger transport in Guangzhou Pearl River has developed quickly. An increasing number of docks are being used.

 

Dashatou ferry terminal

 

It was called “Baiyun Airport above the water”, because it played an important role in Guangzhou waterway. There are steamships going to Dongguan, Taiping, Longmen, Huizhou and other cities.

Location: 406, Yanjiang East Road

Transportation:

By bus: take bus 12, 1 or 281 and get off at Dashatou ferry

 

Sai passenger station

 

The steamship is mainly down to Wuzhou, Guanyao, Rongqi and Pingzhou.

Location: 1, Yanjiang East Road

Transportation:

By bus: take bus 1,209,217,219,236 or 281 and get off at Nanfang building.

 

Chou Tau Tsui pier

 

It will become the passenger transport hub of South China coast, Hong Kong and Macau.

Location: 88, Houde Road, Haizhu District

Transportation:

By bus: take bus 131B and get off at Binjiang West Road (Chou Tau Street).
