The Mausoleum of Genghis Khan

Mausoleum of Genghis Khan is a national historic site located in the Gandeli Grassland. The site was built between 1954 to 1956 by the government of the PRC in the traditional Mongolian style, it is 115 kilometers north of Yulin, and 55 kilometers south of Dongsheng. A new interchange on highway 210 can transfer passengers directly to the site. It was named an AAAAA-rated tourist attraction by China's National Tourism Administration in 2011.

The total area of the Mausoleum is about 50, 000 sq. m. The spacious square at the front of the main hall and the two masts symbolize prosperity and happiness.
