Ningbo Lishe International Airport

Ningbo Lishe International Airport, opened in 1992, is 11 kilometers southwest of downtown NIngbo. The airport was renovated and expanded in 2002, with a newly built terminal building that can handle a throughput of 1700 person-times at the peak hour, and 3,800,000 person-times for one year. The 297,000 square meters green landscaped terminal provide a pleasant environment for passengers.

 

Air routes to most of the major cities in China have been launched at the airport, like Hong Kong and Macau, as well as Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, and Lanzhou. International flights to Seoul, South Korea are also available here.

 

The waiting hall covers an area of 43,500 square meters and consists of three stories. The underground level is for parking, whilst the first floor contains the Arrival's Hall, and the second floor is for Departures. The Waiting Hall provides many conveniences, including: shopping area, cafes and restaurants are available here. The shopping area covers an area of 800 square meters and the restaurants and bars cover an additional 1,500 square meters.

Railway Station

 

Ningbo Railway Station

Ningbo Railway Station opened on September 30th, 1959. It is about 3 kilometers to the city center and 11 kilometers to Ningbo Lishe International Airport. The station is also called South Railway Station by local residents as it is located outside of the south gate of the city. To meet the increasing demands from passengers, the station has undergone a reconstruction since 2010 and was put into use again on December 23rd, 2013. As an important railway hub, it has trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Wuhan, and Fuzhou, etc.

 

The station is mainly consisted of three parts: South Square, North Square and the main building. The South Square is the main transportation hub so far. There are stops for city buses and parking lots for private vehicles in its center; city bus stops, taxi stands, and parking lots for private vehicles in its southwest; and taxi stands and parking lots at its basement. In addition, the long-distance bus station to the south of this square is under construction and will be put into use soon.

Ningbo East Railway Station

Ningbo East Railway Station is a railway station on the Yongtaiwen Railway located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It was originally built as a cargo station until the reconstruction of Ningbo Railway Station when Ningbo East Railway Station opened to passengers on September 8th, 2010. After the completion work of Ningbo Railway Station, Ningbo East Railway Station is regarded as a secondary passenger station for Ningbo.
