Red Leaves Canyon is situated in the mountain area in south of Jinan about 33 kilometers away from downtown area. The hills and canyon full of vigorous trees could change colors as seasons change. Therefore, the perfect visiting time is definitely autumn when leaves are as red as fire which makes the canyon like a wonderland only appearing in dreams.
There are some gardens and a grand lake inside the canyon too. The number of tulip and rose is the most.
Red Leaves Canyon have been listed as a 4A tourist attraction at a national level since 2003.
