Located on the central plain of China, Luoyang is fairly celebrated as the cradle of Chinese civilization and one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China.

As the capital of 13 dynasties until the Northern Song dynasty moved its capital to Kaifeng in the 10th century, Luoyang is a true ancient dynastic city.
