Why Hongkong Disneyland is special
Hong Kong Disneyland is one of the only two Disneyland in Asia. Another one is located in Tokyo, Japan. Hong Kong Disneyland is admired as a “Dreamland” among children. The Hong Kong Disneyland attracts millions of tourists each year. To convenient tourists, the park is split into 4 different themed lands. Disney even attempts to avoid problems of cultural backlash by attempting to incorporate Chinese culture, customs, and traditions when designing the resort.
Disneyland Highlights
Adventureland
In the Adventureland, tourist could take the Jungle River Cruise on an old traditional river steamboat. It’s the best view to experience a multitude of animal sights and sounds. Besides, on Tarzan’s Tree House home tourists are recommended to ride a short raft to cross to the island. A musical performance titled “The Festival of the Lion King” based on the movie The Lion King is on show each day.
Fantasyland
Fantasyland is a must go at Disneyland for children. There is a place to become a part of Disney fairytales, the fantasy begins when the tourists enter through the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle. Next to the castle there stands Snow White’s grotto. Inside Fantasyland are many Disney rides, including the Mad Hatter Tea Cups, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and the Cinderella Carousel. Another musical performance titled “The Golden Mickey” can be enjoyed at Disney’s Storybook Theater, as well as an interactive 3-D movie.
Tommorrowland
Tommorrowland is a themed futuristic world in space. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters lets tourists ride around and defend from the aliens. Orbitron lets riders pilot their own jet through the sky amongst whirling planets. Tomorrowland also includes the parks fastest ride called Space Mountain, which is a rocketing rollercoaster. A calmer ride can be found at Autopia, there tourists could drive an electric futuristic car around a vast track.
Toy Story Land
The Toy Story Land has the biggest attractions at Hong Kong Disney Land. Toy Story Land is a world with oversized toys giants, in contract tourist shrinks to the size of a toy. Slinky Dog Spin, Toy Soldier Boot Camp, RC Racer, Barrel of Fun…… they are all funny oversized worlds with six larger-than-life toys. Sure to have fun with these huge friends.
