On January 7, 2026, the "Snow Rhythm Longjiang · Cultural Relics Warm Winter – Heilongjiang Ice and Snow Cultural Relics Month" series of activities kicked off at Heilongjiang Provincial Museum of Ethnic Groups. Sponsored by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the event centers on "activating cultural relic resources, innovating cultural expression, and empowering the ice and snow economy". It joins hands with museums and memorial halls across the province to launch special activities, bringing cultural relics "to life" in the ice and snow season.

At the launching ceremony, AI animations showcased the achievements of the province’s digital relic protection, kicking off a fantastic winter cultural journey in Longjiang. The main venue features four themed zones:

An ethnic scene restoration area that presents minority culture and folk customs through ice and snow;

A viewing area with 8 relic-themed snow sculptures, reproducing the unique shapes and decorative details of cultural relics;

Interactive installations of 6 "plush relics" that visitors can touch;

An interesting check-in area that creates an immersive scene for visitors to capture winter memories.

Subsequently, themed activities such as "Cultural Relic Travel Suitcase" and "Ice and Snow Parade" will be launched one after another, continuously exploring the value of cultural relics through creative interactions and highlighting the unique integrated beauty of ice and snow art and cultural relic collections.
