Hong Kong Ocean Park announced last week that the ticket price will be raised by 9% from Jan 1, 2018.

The Ocean Park says that although there is a slight financial increase in the 2016/17 fiscal year, the park is still running in the red with deficit to more than 234 million HK dollars, hence they decide to increase the admission fee to alleviate the situation.

After the adjustment, daytime entrance tickets will be HKD480 for adults while HKD240 for children. The new policy will be conducted from Jan 1, 2018.

Hong Kong residents will enjoy 2017 rates until Feb 28, 2018. Furthermore, Hong Kong citizen visiting Ocean Park on birthday would be free of charge.
