Direct flight between Shanghai and Almaty to launch on Mar 30

Air Astana will launch a direct flight service between Shanghai and Almaty on March 30, offering a more convenient travel option for the Yangtze River Delta region to and from Central Asia. Tickets are now available for purchase.

 

Flight Schedule (Local Time)

Outbound (KC282): Departs Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 05:40 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, arriving at Almaty International Airport at 10:15. The total flight duration is approximately 7 hours and 35 minutes.

Return (KC281): Departs Almaty International Airport at 19:10 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport at 04:25 the next day. The total flight duration is approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes.

 

The route will be operated by Airbus A321LR aircraft. Coupled with the 30-day mutual visa exemption policy between China and Kazakhstan, travel for passengers is more hassle-free. Connections from Almaty are available to destinations within Kazakhstan, as well as to regions in Central Asia and the Caucasus, expanding travel options.
