Recently, the "Breeze Over the Lake for a Century - Beijing-Tianjin Art Circle Documentary Research Exhibition" was launched at the National Art Museum of China, together with a donation ceremony for artistic masterpieces by renowned 20th-century artists from the Beijing-Tianjin art circle.
The exhibition systematically combs through the development context of important art groups in the Beijing-Tianjin region such as the Chinese Painting Research Association and the Lake Society Painting Association. It showcases nearly 200 exquisite works by over 100 artists, illustrating the artistic trajectory of the Beijing-Tianjin art circle - one that upholds traditions while forging innovation. During the event, collector Xu Xianfeng donated more than 30 works by celebrated artists such as Pu Xinyu and Qi Gong.
Held in in Halls 1, 8 and 9 on the first floor of the National Art Museum of China, the exhibition runs until January 31, 2026 (closed on Mondays).
