Sanxingdui relics exhibition to open at National Museum of China

Guided by the National Cultural Heritage Administration and co-hosted by the National Museum of China and Sichuan Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration, the "Twin Stars Shine Bright: Sanxingdui and Jinsha Ruins Ancient Shu Civilization Exhibition" will run from January 18 to August 18 at Halls South 8 and 9.

 

Featuring over 200 artifacts including 132 first-class national relics from Sanxingdui and Jinsha museums, the exhibition showcases highlights like bronze beast masks, gold crown bands, the limited-time Sun Bird Gold Ornament (Jun 13–Aug 18) and gold mask (Apr 18–Aug 18).

 

Centered on the two core sites of Ancient Shu civilization, it illustrates the ancestors' life and beliefs, embodying Chinese civilization's diverse and integrated pattern.
