Day 1: Beijing

Upon your arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel in Beijing.

Day 2: Beijing

Today's exploration begins at the Juyongguan Great Wall, a masterwork of ancient military engineering and one of the most spectacular architectural feats in human history. Students will decode the strategic geography, watchtower signaling systems, and brick-masonry techniques that allowed ancient empires to fortify their northern frontiers. Then visit the Summer Palace.

Wander through the world’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden. Originally designed as a royal summer retreat, it features an exquisite collection of classical pavilions and bridges centered around the tranquil Kunming Lake.
Traverse one of the most extraordinary architectural wonders of the ancient world. This monumental landmark stands as a timeless testament to human ingenuity, ancient engineering prowess and China’s profound historical heritage.

Day 3: Beijing

In the morning, head to the historic Hutong alleys near Houhai for an authentic home visit. Inside a traditional residential home, you will dive into local folk customs by learning how to paint colorful Beijing Opera masks and design traditional Chinese kites. Next, join the family in a fun dumpling-making session, learning the delicate art of wrapping them before sitting down to enjoy your fresh, handmade creation for lunch.
 
Then transfer to the heart of Beijing to visit the legendary Forbidden City. Walk through the imposing meridian gates of this UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring the massive imperial courtyards, grand ceremonial halls, and beautiful royal gardens that served as the supreme center of power for the Ming and Qing dynasties.

 

Forbidden City
Step into the majestic imperial palace where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties ruled for five centuries. Explore the ceremonial courtyards and the exquisite private quarters of the royal family. Note: Closed on Mondays. In case of closure or ticket unavailability, the itinerary adjusts to Jingshan Park for a premier panoramic view overlooking the entire Forbidden City.

Day 4: Beijing

Begin your morning at the grand Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of Ming and Qing imperial architecture where emperors once offered sacrifices for abundant harvests. The Temple of Heaven construction is supreme achievement of Chinese traditional architecture. Students will learn Taichi under the guidance of a professional Taichi teacher. It is an excellent chance for them to realize their Kung Fu dreams!
 
Head north into the city center to explore the Lama Temple. Initially built in 1694 as a prince's residence and later upgraded to a royal resort palace, it ultimately became the prestigious Tibetan Buddhist monastery we see today. Be sure to visit the magnificent Wanfu Pavilion to admire the world’s largest single-piece sandalwood Buddha statue.
 
Then walk a short distance into the quiet neighboring hutong to visit the Guozijian Imperial Academy, once the highest national institution of learning in imperial China. Wander beneath ancient trees, trace the history of the imperial examination system, and see the historic birthplace of modern higher education in Beijing.
Lama Temple, Temple of Heaven (UNESCO)
The Lama Temple has a reputation of the largest and best-preserved Tibetan Buddhist Lamasery in Beijing. The building and artwork of the lama Temple is a combination of Han and Tibetan styles.
Discover the Temple of Heaven, a timeless masterpiece of traditional Chinese imperial architecture. For centuries, ancient emperors held grand solemn rituals here to worship heaven and pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests. Longmen Grottoes
The Longmen Grottoes is one of the Three Major Buddhist Grottoes in China. Carved 1500 years ago, the grottoes is the long-established art form which plays a significant role in the evolution of Buddism in Asian. It has over 100,000 Buddhist images and statues inside.

Day 6: Luoyang - Xi'an (by bullet train)

Shaolin Temple, Chinese Kungfu course
Established in the 5th century, the Shaolin Temple (UNESCO) is world-famous for its connection with Chinese martial arts - Shaolin Kung Fu. China’s biggest pagoda forest also lies in Shaolin Temple, which is a concentration of more than 240 tomb pagodas for abbots and eminent monks of the temple.
Coming up next is the best part you could ever imagine – a Chinese Kungfu course (2 hours). Here the Kungfu School is one of China's greatest patrimonies sitting in tranquil mountains, the birthplace of Taoism, which will give you a picturesque and peaceful landscape for training mind and body.

Day 7: Xi'an

Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses (UNESCO), Ancient City Wall
The Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses (UNESCO) is one of the greatest archaeological discoveries in the world. More than 6000 life-sized terra cotta warriors, archers, infantrymen, horses, and bronze chariots have silently guarded the tomb of China's First Emperor for over 2,200 years.
The Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest city walls in China and still encompasses the center of Xi'an today.

Jinli Ancient Street, Wuhou Memorial Temple, People's Park
The Jinli Ancient Street, decorated with tea-houses and boutiques on both sides, used to be one of the busiest commercial streets during the Shu Kingdom. The wooden steles and the brick-walls exhibit the ancient charm of the city.
The Wuhou Memorial Temple is a complex of pavilions and statues commemorating figures of the Three Kingdoms period (AD 220-80).
Located in the center of Chengdu, People’s Park is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the city's legendary, slow-paced lifestyle. It seamlessly blends lush natural landscapes and historic monuments with rich local traditions. During your visit, you can wander through Matchmaker’s Corner in People’s Park where parents search for suitable suitors for their children, and visit a traditional Tea House where you can try traditional Chinese tea. Sitting bamboo chairs, sipping local green tea, and watching locals chat or play mahjong offers an authentic window into the true soul of Chengdu's cultural heritage.

Day 9: Panda Volunteer Experience

6: 45 am: Meet your guide at the hotel.
 
8:45am–11:30 am: Arrive at Panda Base and begin your tour. You will learn more about the pandas and help take care of them. The activities may include carrying and breaking bamboo, cleaning work areas, observing panda keepers feeding panda then touring around the panda base.
 
11:30 am–1:30pm: Simple Lunch at the canteen of Panda Base. And then watch a panda documentary that lasts for about 40 minutes.
 
1:30 pm–2:00 pm: Continue the program in the afternoon. Make panda cakes and cut bamboo leaves for senior pandas.
 
2:00 pm–2:30 pm: The panda volunteer program finishes. You will receive a panda keeper certificate with souvenirs. You may continue to explore the park before returning to your hotel.
 
 
Notes:
1. Venue: China Giant Panda Conservation and Shenshuping Panda Base. (110 km away from the Chengdu city center)
2. The order and content of the activities on the day are subject to the arrangements of the panda base staff.
3. Participants must be between 8 and 70 years old.
4. Any physical illness (fever, heart disease, or recent major surgery, etc.) should be reported in advance.

Day 10: Chengdu - Haikou (by air)

After check-in at your hotel, take a leisurely stroll through Qilou Old Street (Arcade Street), Haikou's most historic and scenic landmark. Marvel at the unique Southeast Asian style architecture and vibrant street life that gives this area its timeless charm. It is the perfect time to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere, explore a wide array of eclectic shops, and savor authentic Nanyang-style delicacies.

 

Day 11: Haikou - Wenchang - Sanya

Digital Frontiers & Galactic Wonders

Your journey begins with an 08:00 AM assembly and departure from Haikou for Wenchang. The first stop is the Wenchang Aerospace Supercomputing Center, a unique facility integrating big data with immersive tourism. Experience a 360-degree cylindrical screen simulating a rocket launch and explore the "Digital Metaverse" NFT gallery. Afterward, visit the Polaris Meteorite Museum to "touch the stars". Marvel at over 400 celestial specimens, including lunar and Martian fragments, and use 5D VR technology to simulate an asteroid landing.

 

Cultural Heritage & Coastal Geology

After an aerospace-themed Hainan specialty lunch , transition to history at Wennan Old Street, featuring iconic "Shophouse" architecture blending local and Southeast Asian styles. Next, explore Stone Park, a natural wonder of massive granite boulders and sea-erosion landscapes. These scenic stops (provided schedule permitting) offer a tranquil cultural interlude before the high-energy excitement of the evening launch.
 

 

 

The Grand Launch & Yaoguang Carnival

The climax unfolds at the Yaoguang Rocket Launch Platform with the Aerospace Carnival, featuring cloud concerts and holographic shows. As the countdown hits zero, witness the breathtaking power of the rocket ignition and ascent. Depending on the launch window, you will enjoy dinner either before or after the event. Finally, relax on a comfortable coach transfer to Sanya.

Day 12: Sanya
