As a traveler, you will be aware that most of the travel agencies would arrange souvenir shops and factories in the tours, which have been an unwritten standard in China or other Asian countries.
Since October 1st, 2013, CITS offers truly alternative prices of tours with or without shopping. For most travelers, it would be a once in a life-time opportunity to visit China. So we take every care to ensure you full value for every penny spent and an enjoyable China trip.
CITS is one of few travel agencies who could guarantee NO-SHOPPING in all private tour itineraries. With our ‘No shopping’ promise, you would enjoy more time to visit without going to any shops and factories.
You will have a letter of guarantee with your confirmation when you booked a no-shopping tour. Please be noted that the no-shopping tour is relatively high in price compared with shopping tours. If your guide took you to any tourist shop, CITS would refund the guide cost of that day.
Exceptionally, sometimes attractions have shops at the exits which can’t be avoided passing through.
Normal private tours, some seat-in-coach tours do include shops and factories sometimes. These tours are great value for money, if you are on a budget they could be a good choice. Usually, during a day tour, you will be taken to 1-2 shopping stops. When you book these tours, you don’t need to worry at all, because you only purchase items of your own will.
