Starting from December 20th, a series of ice and snow tourism events in Inner Mongolia, including the 21st Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Nadam, the 2025 Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Hero Festival, and the 22nd China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival in Manzhouli, will kick off one after another.

The Ice and Snow Nadam will be held at the ice and snow venue of Inner Mongolia Racecourse, featuring more than 10 ice and snow events such as the Speed Skating Open, Ice Hockey Invitational Tournament, Snow Football Open, and Ice and Snow Carnival. The event will last until mid-February 2025.

The Inner Mongolia Ice and Snow Hero Festival will open in Hulunbuir on December 21st. The opening ceremony will integrate ethnic performances and motor vehicle stunts, with four consecutive days of ice and snow electronic music festivals and light and fireworks shows, creating a carnival for motorcycle enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, the China-Russia-Mongolia International Ice and Snow Festival will be held in Manzhouli from mid-December 2025 to early January 2026. All activities will fully integrate cultural elements of China, Russia, and Mongolia. During the festival, events such as China-Russia-Mongolia Intangible Cultural Heritage Exchange Activity, Matryoshka Beauty Pageant, Russian Western Food Exhibition and Tasting Conference, and China-Russia-Mongolia Thousand-People New Year Countdown Activity will be held.

Located in the high-latitude zone, Hulunbuir has a long winter with a snow season of up to seven months, its diverse landforms created unique resources of pure snow quality and magnificent ice and snow landscapes, providing superior natural conditions for hosting high-level ice and snow festivals and events.
