On Oct 10, Cathay Pacific announced daily direct Hong Kong-Changsha flights starting Nov 4, 2025 - expanding its Mainland China route network. Changsha will be Cathay Group’s 5th new Mainland destination in 2025, raising total Mainland destinations to 24.
Cathay Pacific and HK Express (both under Cathay Group) will jointly operate the route, providing more convenient travel between the two cities.

CX968: Departs Hong Kong (HKG) at 09:15 and arrives in Changsha (CSX) at 10:50, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays;
CX927: Departs Changsha (CSX) at 13:05 and arrives in Hong Kong (HKG) at 14:45, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays;
CX920: Departs Hong Kong (HKG) at 19:30 and arrives in Changsha (CSX) at 21:05, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays;
CX943: Departs Changsha (CSX) at 22:10 and arrives in Hong Kong (HKG) at 23:50, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
