Aeroflot has announced the launch of a direct flight connecting Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Khabarovsk, Russia, set to launch on December 24, 2025. The new route will bolster air connectivity for people-to-people and trade ties between China and Russia’s Far East.

According to Aeroflot’s schedule, the route will operate 3 weekly flights: inbound (Khabarovsk - Shanghai Pudong) on Wednesdays and Sundays, and outbound (Shanghai Pudong - Khabarovsk) on Mondays and Thursdays. Modern short-haul aircraft will be deployed to ensure passengers’ comfort.

Khabarovsk, a key transport and economic hub in Russia’s Far Eastern Federal District, previously, travelers had to transfer to transfer via Moscow or other cities. The direct route will slash travel time and boost cross-border efficiency.

The new service is part of Aeroflot’s ongoing expansion of its China-Russia route network. Amid growing economic, trade and tourism ties between the two countries, the airline has stepped up frequencies of direct flights to meet demand for convenient cross-border travel.
