China has extended its unilateral 30-day visa-free entry policy until December 31, 2026, starting from November 3, 2025.
Sweden will be included in the eligible list from November 10, 2025, alongside existing countries: France, Germany, ltaly, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, lreland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Slovakia, Norway, Finland, Denmark, lceland, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Andorra, South Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain.
Ordinary passport holders from these nations can enter China visa-free for tourism, business, family visits, or transit, with a maximum 30-day stay. Travelers who are not eligible for the policy must obtain a valid visa in advance. Travelers should check official consular channels for the full list of qualifying countries.
