Huangyaguan Great Wall highlights

Solid: Huangyaguan Great Wall is really overwhelming. Been the north entrance of Jixian County, it winds its way across mountain peaks like a dragon.

Dangerous: Huangyaguan Great Wall jumps its way up and down as a linkage between the cliff and crags. The steps are very high since the mountain is sloppy. In some sections, it looks like that the wall is running straight up or down. When you look down, you may feel afraid of the dizzy scene.

Except for the long history and magnificent scenery, Huangyaguan Great Wall is also attractive to Marathon runners. Starting form 1999, Huangyaguan Great Wall Marathon was held annually there. The Huangyaguan Great Wall Marathon ingeniously combines marathon, a sport event with a long history and the ancient Great Wall, one of the world’s most astonishing sights.
