Fuzhou Changle International Airport

 

Fuzhou Changle International Airport is an international airport. The airport was inaugurated on June 23, 1997, after being approved to start constructing in 1992. The current handling capacity is approximately 6.5 million people annually.

 

The airport is located near the shore of the Taiwan Strait in Zhanggang Subdistrict, Changle, about 50km east of Fuzhou's city center. In 2017, Fuzhou Airport handled 12,469,235 passengers and was the 29th busiest in China by total passenger traffic. In 2016 the airport was the 23rd busiest airport in terms of cargo traffic and the 28th busiest airport by traffic movements. Changle Airport was built to replace the old Fuzhou Yixu Airport, a dual-use military and civil airport located in Cangshan District, and prepared for the base of the direct flights to Taiwan across the straits.

Fuzhou Railway Station

 

Fuzhou Railway Station is a metro station and a railway station located in Cangshan District Fuzhou, Fujian Province. As the junction of the Wenzhou-Fuzhou Railway, Nanping-Fuzhou Railway, and Fuxia Railway, Fuzhou Railway Station plays an important role in the city’s transportation. The station was opened in 1958 and expanded in 2004. From May 2016 it is served by the Line 1 of Fuzhou Metro.

 

Fuzhou South Raliway Station

 

Fuzhou South Railway Station (Fuzhounan Station) is a metro station and a railway station, along the Wenzhou-Fuzhou Railway and Fuzhou-Xiamen Railway, which is operated by the Nanchang Railway Bureau, China Railway Corporation. It locates in Lulei Village, Chengmen Town, Cangshan District Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The station began construction on September 2, 2008 and opened on April 26, 2010.

Fuzhou Port

 

Fuzhou Port is a natural seaport centered on the estuary of the Minjiang River artificial deep-water international seaport on the coast of Fuzhou, Fujian Province. The Port is located on the southeastern coast of Fujian, facing the Taiwan Strait. Fuzhou is the Mainland port closest to Taiwan, being just 149 nautical miles from Keelung.

 

In 2013, Fuzhou Port had a total cargo throughput of 127 million tones, an annual increase of 11.82%. Container traffic with Taiwan was 332,500 TEU, with an increase of 6.09%. The regular ferry route between Pingtan wharf and Taichung and Taipei in Taiwan served 144,400 passengers, with the increase of 4.09%.
