Direct flights between New York and Fuzhou launched

A direct flight service between New York and Fuzhou, capital of eastern China's Fujian Province was launched by Xiamen Airlines on 15, Feb, 2017.

 

The air service runs three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, which is operated by Boeing 787. It will depart from Fuzhou at 9:15 and land in New York after A 14.5-hour flight. The return flight leaves New York at 12:55 (local time).

 

The new route makes Fuzhou the fourth city in China after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to have direct flights to New York.

 

Xiamen Airlines will also launch a direct flight from Xiamen city to Los Angeles in June, according to Che Shanglun, chairman of the airline.
