The Chinese Archaeological Museum was newly opened to the public on 15th September. The museum serves as a brand-new historical and cultural repository along Beijing's Central Axis, and acts as a new national cultural landmark to display over 5,000 years of Chinese civilization.
The museum showcases 6000 pieces of collections in a "warehouse" style and offer an immersive experience for visitors. It also combines exhibitions with heritage preservation, academic research, and publicity functions.

Opening times: 9:00 to 16:30
Open to the groups of specialists on Tuesdays.
Open to the public from Wednesdays to Sundays.

Individual visitors can make an appointment online three days in advance.
