LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort, will officially open on July 5, has officially announced its ticket price. As the countdown to its opening continues, all eight themed zones of the resort have been fully revealed, with 80% of ride installations completed and some attractions entering testing phases.
Located in northern Jinshan District, the 318,000-square-meter LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort features eight themed areas: Lego Monkie Kid, Lego Mythica, Lego City, Lego Castle, Lego Ninjago, Brick Street, Lego Bricktopia, and Lego Friends. Notably, the Monkie Kid zone - inspired by China’s literary classic Journey to the West - marks the world’s first physical adaptation of this popular Chinese IP, allowing visitors to experience traditional Chinese culture through interactive play.
Distinct from other Legoland hotels worldwide, the LEGOLAND Shanghai Resort’s hotel exterior features 54 oversized LEGO bricks (450 times standard size), complemented by 1,850 LEGO art installations and 126 LEGO props, creating a fantastical fairy-tale atmosphere. The 250-room hotel will offer five themed rooms including global-first Monkie Kid suites alongside Lego City, Lego Friends, Lego Castle, and Lego Ninjago rooms. Interactive spaces like Adventure Play Zone, Mini Castle, and Creative Workshop will enhance the guest experience.
