On the evening of January 24th, Air China Flight CA705, carrying 278 passengers, landed smoothly at Abu Dhabi International Airport (Zayed International Airport) in the United Arab Emirates, marking the successful inaugural flight of the nonstop route between Beijing and Abu Dhabi.

As Air China's first newly launched international route in 2026, the service is operated with Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft with flight numbers CA705/706. It offers 4 round-trips per week, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The one-way flight time is approximately 9 hours and 30 minutes. Outbound flights from Beijing depart from Beijing Capital International Airport, with inbound flights from Abu Dhabi landing at the same hub.

This is the first direct air link operated by a Chinese airline between the capitals of China and the UAE, building an efficient and convenient air bridge for exchanges between the two countries.
