The 43rd China Luoyang peony culture festival is scheduled to take place from April 1 to April 30, 2026, in Luoyang, Henan Province. According to a press conference held on March 16, this year's festival is themed A Journey of Blossoms to Luoyang and will feature nine main events alongside 12 collaborative activities. As a major highlight for inbound tourism, the festival aims to integrate floral sightseeing with immersive cultural experiences, including traditional Hanfu parades and large-scale live performances at historical relic parks.

To enhance the experience for international visitors, local authorities have optimized urban infrastructure and introduced multiple cultural exchange programs. The festival emphasizes an all-day consumption model, combining daytime garden tours with vibrant night-time economy activities at iconic spots like the Longmen Grottoes. These initiatives are designed to cater to the growing demand for authentic cultural engagement among international travelers. By showcasing its profound historical heritage, Luoyang continues to strengthen its appeal as a top-tier destination for inbound tourism during the peak spring season.

The city has also introduced several visitor-friendly measures, including optimized public transportation and enhanced multi-language guide services in major peony gardens. These efforts aim to provide a seamless and welcoming environment for “four seas guests” arriving from across the globe. As 4,000-year-old traditions meet modern hospitality, Luoyang’s peony festival remains a premier platform for cultural promotion, ensuring that every international guest experiences the full splendor of China's “Peony Capital.”
