Tai'an Transportation

Tai'an is a famous tourism city located in the middle of Shandong Province. Tai'an boasts well-developed transportation facilities. A complete transportation network has been built, principally consisting of railways, express ways and public buses. Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway passes Tai'an railway station.

 

Airway

 

There is no airport in Tai'an, tourists could arrive at or depart from Ji'nan Yaoqiang International Airport which is 90 kilometers from Tai'an. There are 6 buses running between Ji'nan Yaoqiang Airport and Taishan Shuttle Terminal each day. The bus ticket costs 70 yuan per person.

Departure time: 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 16:30, 18:30 and 20:30

 

Tai'an→Ji'nan Yaoqiang International Airport

Train

 

There are two railway stations in Tai'an: Taishan Railway Station is located in the west end of Caiyuan Street, K trains and T trains stop at this Station. Another is Tai'an Railway Station, bullet trains including D trains and G trains stop at Tai’an Railway Station. It only takes about 1 hour to get to Ji'nan (the capital city of Shandong) and about 2 hours to get to Beijing by Bullet Train.

 

Coach

 

Tai'an Coach Station is located in the west section of Dongyue Street. Tourists could take Long-distance buses departing to nearby cities including Qufu, Ji'nan, and Qingdao. There are also coaches operated to major domestic cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing and so on. Detailed information could be found at coach station, railway station, and tourist information center.

 

City Transportation

 

Tai'an has a sound public bus network consisting of more than 30 routes. Within the city tourists could easily travel to each place of the city by public bus. It’s also convenient to travel by taxi. The taxi of Tai'an charges 6 yuan for the first two kilometers and then charges CNY1.5 per km.
