However, the best time to visit Shenzhen is from October to December for as the weather is pleasantly cool. Shenzhen’s springtime lasts from February to April with relatively large temperature difference between day and night. A cold wave may come even in late February. Shenzhen has a warm winter from middle January to early February, with an average temperature of 10 ℃. The temperature may fall to around 3℃ when there is cold spell, but the cold won’t last for long. Once there are three continuous sunny days, you will feel as hot as in summer. If you travel there at this time, you may just take a long-sleeved T-shirt and a thick jacket.
Tips: There is an annual litchi festival from June 28th to August 8th, with cultural events revolving litchi will take place. Visitors can go to Litchi Park to taste the fresh litchis.
