Laoniuwan Geological Park in Inner Mongolia opens to public

On July 16, 2013,Laoniuwan Geological Park located 160 km to Hohhot (the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region) opens to the public. Inside the Laoniuwan Geological Park, a section of Great Wall built in Ming dynasty (1368-1644) twists on cliff along the Yellow River.

 

 

Laoniuwan Geological Park covers an area of 28 km2. The park is well known for a spectacular view, Great Wall meets Yellow River. Besides, Laoniuwan Geological Park features multiple geological structures including the Yellow River, grassland, waterfall and canyon.
