West Lake Scenic Area in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is scheduled to resume operation starting from February 19th, according to the local management committee. West Lake Scenic Area was temporally closed due to the coronavirus outbreak from January 24th, as well as the  cruise ships and the musical fountain.

In order to ensure people's safety, the number of visitors entering the parks every day is limited with the volume less than 50 percent of its passenger capacity. Also, visitors are required to have a "green pass," or a QR code-based green-colored pass. With that pass, visitors are allowed to go freely across Hangzhou City without worrying about the traffic restrictions due to the coronavirus. Also, all the visitors must to measure their body temperature at the entrance, and need to wear the masks during the visit.

Apart from the West Lake Scenic Area, Hangzhou also announced the reopen of Hangzhou’s parks, squares and stadiums. In the near future, Shaoxing City in Zhejiang Province, and Nanjing City in Jiangsu Province will also reopen some of the scenic areas.
