The world's first Zootopia-themed park is set to open in Shanghai Disneyland on December 20, 2023. Based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios movie "Zootopia", it will be the eighth themed land in Shanghai Disneyland.
A new attraction, "Zootopia: Hot Pursuit," will be released during the opening. The guests will hop on the all-terrain cruiser powered by a trackless ride system in an action-filled chase through Zootopia's different districts.
In the windows of Zootopia Park Apartments, a lineup of animal residents will interact with guests all the day.
The new land will also feature a shop themed on Fru Fru, one of Zootopia's well-received characters.
At present, there are six Disneylands around the world, located in Anaheim, Orlando, Tokyo, Paris, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
