Fuxing EMU trains will run on Qinghai-Tibet railway from July

From July 1, the Fuxing bullet trains will operate Xining-Golmud section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, running at 160 km/h. The running time of the whole line can be controlled within 6 hours.
 
The Xining-Golmud section of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway been in operation since May 1984 and has undergone nearly 40 years. 
 
In order to adapt to the special operating conditions of the Tibet Line, the entire EMU has improved the sealing performance of the whole train, and added a pressure wave device to make passengers more comfortable when traveling on the plateau.
 
With a total length of 1,956 kilometers, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway starts in Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province, and ends in Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet autonomous region.
