Known as the Eye of Bohai Sea, Bailang River Bridge Ferris Wheel opened to the public in Weifang City, Shandong Province on May 16, 2018. It was built on the Bailang River Bridge.  With the height of 145 meters, it is now the largest spokeless Ferris wheel in the world.

The Bailang River Bridge Ferris Wheel is 125 meters in diameter and features a grid design. It has 36 carriages, and each can host 10 people. The crisscrossing steel beams holding the Ferris wheel together are described as a 'dragon spine', and the complex architecture is vital for pulling off the spokeless and shaftless design.

The Ferris wheel takes half an hour to complete a rotation. The most surprising thing is that engineers have installed television sets and WiFi inside the carriages. It is convenient for travelers to selfie and share their experiences to the world inevitably.

Bailang River Bridge Ferris Wheel has become Weifang's newest and the most eye-catching landmark. Standing in the carriage, you will be offered an unparalleled view of the Bailang River in Weifang City. Weifang City is a prefecture-level city in central Shandong Province. It is also known as "Kite Capital of the World". The Ferris wheel can help boost the tourism in Weifang and attract more visitors around the world. In the future, Weifang City will have more premium services to meet people’s travel needs.
