Day 3 Kunming - Stone Forest - Mile (220 km)
Today, you will drive from Kunming to Mile. You will visit to the Stone Forest and the Alu Ancient Cave en route. The Stone Forest (UNESCO) is a typical Karst landscape formed some 270 million years ago. This geological wonder consists of limestone cliffs and peaks that have weathered into various shapes since their formation beneath the sea.
Day 4 Mile - Yuanyang (230 km)

Day 6 Yuanyang - Mojiang - Pu’er (320 km)
Day 7 Pu’er - Ximeng (280 km)
Day 8 Ximeng - Cangyuan - Wengding Village (290 km)
Today’s journey starts with a tour to the Muyiji Holy Valley, the holy site of Wa People since ancient time. Then, drive to the Wengding Village, one of the best-preserved primitive villages in China. Enjoy yourself at the carefree nature and appreciate the picturesque landscapes under the sunset.
Day 9 Wengding Village - Shuangjiang (220 km)
Day 10 Shuangjiang - Dali (400 km)
Today, drive from Shuangjiang to Dali. Upon arrival, take a walking tour of the Dali Old Town to capture its charm with narrow cobbled streets and traditional stone architecture. Then, visit the Erhai Lake, which is reputed as the pearl on plateau for its charming scenery, and it is one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China.
Day 11 Dali - Shangri-La - Deqin (320 km)
In the morning, embark on a car ride to Deqin. You will visit the Ganden Songzanlin Monastery in Shangri-La en route. It is the largest Tibetan Buddhism monastery in Yunnan province. Built in the 17th century, during the reign of the Fifth Dalai Lama, it is often called ' the Little Potala Palace'. Then, proceed to Deqin and visit the Meili Mountain.
Day 12 Deqin - Weixi - Tacheng (260 km)
Day 13 Tacheng - Shangri-La - Tiger Leaping Gorge (210 km)
Today’s driver is from Tacheng to the Tiger Leaping Gorge by crossing the Pudacuo National Park. The Pudacuo National Park is notable as the first national park in China to meet International Union for Conservation of Nature standards. It incorporates the Bita Lake and the Duhu Scenic Area, and holds the stunning view of three parallel rivers and dense deciduous forests.
Day 14 Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang (90 km)
In the morning, enjoy a hiking in the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Located 60 kilometers north of Lijiang City, the Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of the deepest and most spectacular river canyons in the world. Following an ancient trek, you will enjoy a magnificent close-up view of sharp cliffs and roaring water. Then, drive to Lijiang and relax yourself in this old town.
Day 15 Lijiang
Enjoy a full-day exploration to the Ancient Towns of Lijiang and Shuhe. The Old Town of Lijiang (UNESCO) is one of the best-preserved ancient towns in China and is famous for its distinctive Naxi culture and ancient buildings. The Shuhe Ancient Town, a small Naxi village just a few kilometers on the outskirts of Lijiang, ranks the earliest habitation of the Naxi ancestors. It is also an important and well-preserved post house on the Ancient Tea Horse Road.
