Temple Exploration and Acoustic Mystery
In the afternoon, begin your journey with an in-depth exploration of the theatre’s purely wooden structure. Through an interactive “scavenger hunt,” you will uncover hidden deity shrines and intricate carvings that tell the story of Beijing’s guild hall culture.

Professional opera actors will guide you through the history and aesthetics of the “Ancestor of all Operas.” You will learn the delicate movements of the “Water Sleeve” and the symbolic meanings behind every gaze and step.

Leisure Stroll and Hutong Culture
Before the evening's main event, enjoy free time in the surrounding historic district. You can stroll through Liulichang Street to see antique books and calligraphy art, or wander through the creative Yangmeizhu Xiejie for a cup of specialty coffee in a renovated hutong. This is the perfect time to soak in the local atmosphere of old Beijing.
The Grand Finale Performance
At 19:30, return to the theatre as the lanterns glow for the ultimate experience. Seated in the historic hall, you will witness a world-class live performance.
