A photograph exhibition of Van Gogh is on display in Shanghai's Xintiandi area. More than 200,000 visitors have been to view the exhibition, earning it the top position among the cultural exhibitions in Shanghai in 2015.

The 35-minute exhibition projects thousands of high-resolution photographs on 40 huge screens - some measuring up to seven meters in height. The 3,000 images are of Van Gogh's canvases, including his best-known paintings, sketches, drafts and letters he wrote mainly to his younger brother, Theo.

The show is running from 28, Apr to 30, Aug. So far, 250,000 tickets have been sold in presale, which means 50,000 more will come to view the exhibit. The organizer suggested that visitors should see the exhibition as early as possible, to avoid the rush in the last month.
