The 7th China International Icefall Tourism Festival started on January 9, 2012 in Nuorilang Waterfall of Jiuzhaigou Valley, a renowned scenery resort in southwest China’s Sichuan Province.
The highlight of this festival was the colorful opening ceremony. During this festival, other events would also be held including photograph contest, poetry contest and so on.
The purpose of the Icefall Tourism Festival is to further enhance Jiuzhaigou Valley tourism brand, promote the Jiuzhai Valley Winter tourism development, and strengthen the market competitiveness and attractiveness of Jiuzhai Valley in winter tourism.
