Recently, an art exhibition opens at Beijing X Museum. The exhibition focuses on the artistic talent of children with intellectual disabilities.
Titled as "Children's Sports, Paint the Beauty", the charity exhibition will run until August 15. It is co-organized by the museum, NBA Cares, and Special Olympics East Asia.
On the exhibition, there are 60 sports-themed paintings, including sketches, watercolors, and collage. These works were selected from over 300 entries submitted by children, aged between 4 and 16.
The artistic talents of special needs children and their great love for sports and life are shown through the works. The exhibition is aimed at increasing public awareness of the disadvantaged group, and calling for more social supports.
