2011 Trans-Siberian Railway Rates Updated

The 2011 Trans-Siberian Railway rates which leave from Beijing are updated. As usual, there are two branches are available for travelers who head for Moscow. One is Trans-Mongolian line; the other is the Trans-Manchurian line. Two direct trains weekly depart from Beijing.
 
 

The Trans-Mongolian route, K3, leaves Beijing for Moscow every Wednesday morning. This 7,622 km's journey takes 6 days and 5 nights. This train goes across the Gobi desert, Mongolia and Siberia, and then enters Russia. It's divided into deluxe 2-berth compartments, 1st class 4-berth compartments and 2nd class 4-berth compartments.


The Trans-Manchurian line, K19 leaves Beijing on Saturday nights for Moscow via Manchuria. It takes over 7 days and 8 nights, and lines 8,986km. There are deluxe class 2-berth compartments and 2nd class 4-berth compartments.


Another trans-Siberian train is K23, whose destination is Ulan-Bator. This 1,500 km’s journey takes 29 hours. It stops at Zhangjiakou, Datong, Erenhot, and then enters Mongolia. The train arrives at the terminal the following noon. It’s divided into deluxe 2-berth compartments, 1st class 4-berth compartments and 2nd class 4-berth compartments.
