We (a group of four Chilean friends) did a 13 days private tour to China with excellent tour guides. In Beijing (Bim/Oscar excellent & smart with Shou shou the driver) – in Xi’an (Nieves-lovely girl) – Guilin (Oscar good!) – Hangzhou (Olga) – Suzhou (Mrs. Mai) and Shanghai (Ron excellent!) and let me highlight the performance of Olga - an extraordinary guide, Olga was a very informative knowledgeable guide she told us a lot of history and information on all the places we visited. She was very caring and looked after all the group on the tour. We were most impressed with the job that she did.
As CITS is a reputable travel agency, their service has been excellent all the way through. We were enriched us with China’s ancient culture. I recommend the private tour. The agency fulfilled the whole program. Thank you!!

Acabo de regresar de nuestro viaje a China. Ha sido una gran experiencia con un final de viaje un poco accidentado debido a un tifón en Shanghai.
Lo primero agradecer a todos los foreros la ayuda que tuvimos para confeccionar el viaje apoyándonos en sus comentarios.
Hemos estado trece días, en un viaje privado organizado por mi desde aquí con la agencia china CITS. Los billetes de ida y vuelta a China los compré desde aquí con KLM.
El viaje ha salido tal y como estaba planificado, todas las excursiones tal y como estaban previstas entre la agencia y yo, en buenos vehículos y con guías muy buenos, algunos excepcionales, unos con mejor nivel de español que otros, pero suficiente para entenderse con ellos y entender sus explicaciones. Solo ha habido un punto negro en este apartado, ha sido la guía de Suzhou. Al que se decida por esta agencia, pedir que no le pongan como guía a May. Un mancha mínima que no emborrona el viaje.
Los hoteles han sido espectaculares, de 4 estrellas en Beijing y Shanghai (prefería bajar una estrella y estar en el centro-centro, Calle Wanfunjin y calle Nanjing) y de 5 estrellas en Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo, Hangzhuo y Suzhou, todos espectaculares y con buenos desayunos, en algunos casos muy buenos.
Las comidas correctas y con mas que suficiente cantidad.
Y os cuento el final accidentado, en el que nuestro guía de la agencia en Shanghai, tuvo un comportamiento excepcional.
Los servicios contratados con CITS finalizaban con nuestro transporte por el chofer y el guia al aeropuerto de Shanghai para tomar el avión a España. Como siempre en todos los vuelos nos acompañaban a hacer los tramites de facturación y al llegar nos indican que todos los vuelos del día habían sido cancelados, imaginaros el bajonazo, ya que se habían cancelado desde primera hora de la mañana y nuestro vuelo era el último de la noche, a las 24,00, con la consiguiente cantidad de personas sin vuelo para salir.
A la hora que llegamos al aeropuerto ya no había solución hasta las 7 de la mañana del día siguiente, un montón de gente que como nosotros quería salir de China. Después de interminable colas, con la problemática del poco inglés que hablan los chinos y sin ninguna solución a la vista hasta 5 días después, llamamos a Martín nuestro guía, siendo domingo y sin ninguna obligación por su parte ni por parte de la agencia, se presentó en el aeropuerto, discutió con los chinos de la compañía aérea y consiguió que nos apuntaran en lista de espera en dos vuelos que salían por la noche, uno a París y otro a Amsterdam. Al final conseguimos salir en este último después de 27 horas en el aeropuerto de Shanghai.
Gracias a Martín y a CITS, porque cuando las cosas van bien, todo perfecto, pero cuando surgen los problemas es cuando se aprecia el apoyo que nos han prestado.
Bueno esta es nuestra valoración de esta agencia, totalmente recomendable.
We had a great couple days with Annie as our guide to Beijing. She met us at the train station (as we arrived from Shanghai) and transferred us to the hotel. We arranged a meeting time for the next day.
She was perfectly on time each of the three days we met. First day we traveled out to he Muitianyu section of the Great Wall. We took the chair lift, enjoyed about 2 hours hiking the wall, and then had a fun toboggan ride down. Annie took us to a Chinese tourist place for an authentic Chinese tourist lunch which was delicious. We then did a quick stop back in Beijing at the Olympic Park - Bird's Nest and Water Cube (not a lot to do but neat to see). Then we headed to the Hutong where we had a fun rickshaw/pedicab ride through the Hutong while Annie shared some info about it. We ended at a family's home in the Hutong who invited us in to see how they lived. Very cool.
Day two - we went to Tienanmen Square and Forbidden City and had a great several hour tour, where Annie shared a great deal of knowledge and details we found very interesting. Lunch this day was a Beijinger local place not too far from the Forbidden City. We ended the day with a nice walk around the Summer Palace and dragon boat ride across the lake.
Last day she went with us to the airport and ensured we got checked in and off on our way.
Great arrangements and Annie was terrific! Highly recommend -- and the price of just over $300/person for the three of us including the driver/car, both transfers and two lunches was great.
We did five day tour Beijing and Xian and our tour guide Glen (Wu Hao) was a very informative knowlegeable guide he told us a lot of history and information on all the places we visited. He was very caring and looked after all of the people on the tour. We were most impressed with the job that he did and nothing was too much trouble for him.We visited Tianamen
Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall,Summer Palace , Imperial Gardens,Temple of Heaven,Rickshaw ride tour of the Hutongs,then to Xian to see the Terra Cotta Warriors,Shaanxi Provinial Museum and Big Goose Pagoda.His company CITS should be proud of Glen and the job he is doing. I have been to China twice and both times I have done tours with CITS Their service has been excellent on both occasions
Realmente soy enemigo a los Tours por que no me gusta sentirme atado a los tiempos de los demás, pero en esta oportunidad no me arrepiento en lo más mínimo, La Guía Shopia en Ingles, super atenta, la empresa cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas, realmente vale la pena si necesitas contratar un tour
