Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park is to Open Next May

Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park, one of the projects of national wetland park in northwest China is under construction, and will open to public next May.

 

Centered on the major themes of fun, delicate and fashion, Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park covers an area of 5.8 square kilometers. The fun section of the wetland park displays wetland plants, animals, resumes the original ecological landscape of the wetland. The delicate section displays the layout of wetland plants. While the fashion section offers interaction experiences with the theme of healthy, green and low-carbon.

 

As one of the first ranked national wetland park of northwestern China, Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park now hosts 180 kinds of plants and 150 species of animals. The major constructions include ecology resume, wetland exhibition, ecological farm and fishing experience, as well as popularization of ecological protection.

 

The construction of Xi'an Chanba National Wetland Park will add another tourist attraction to the historical city of Xi'an besides Terracotta Warriors, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Ming Dynasty City Wall and so on.
