Naadam Festival held in Xinlin Gol, Inner Mongolia

The largest traditional festival of Mongolian, Naadam Festival is held on Sunday, 11 August 2013 in Xinlin Gol League, where situated on the grasslands of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This year Naadam Festival attracted around 3,000 athletes.

 

 

Naadam Festival features a range of sports and artistic events. The most renowned sport is the Mongolian form of wrestling, known as bokh qin. To win the game, men in traditional outfits throw each other around outdoor fighting arenas.
