Established by the perfumer Yin Kaiyun, China’s first private perfume museum opens in Kunming, Yunnan Province.

The museum, including laboratory, exhibition area and documentary rooms, exhibits more than 100 kinds of fragrances and plant essential oil, which can be used to make customized perfumes.

The perfume museum is not only an outlet for consumers to purchase fragrances, but also a place where they can learn about making perfumes, scented soaps and essence oils.

Kunming enjoys a pleasant climate, with an average temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit (18 degrees Celsius), making it spring all year round. The "Kunming International Flower Exhibition" is now held every year.
