An authentic SantaPark will be built in Chengdu, the capital of Southwest China’s Sichuan province, which will be the world’s second and Asia’s first SantaPark.

The project is a joint endeavor between by local developer Chengdu Floraland Tourism Investment and Finnish attraction specialist Lappset Group and Santa Park, operator of the “Official Home of Santa Claus” in Lapland.

Upon completion in 2016, the Christmas-themed attraction will be one of the biggest amusement parks in China, and will be run in the same way as Santa’s home in Rovaniemi. It will feature attractions on 13,000 square meters based on the original design of SantaPark in Rovaniemi in northern Finland, including Santa Claus’s Office and Santa Claus' Main Post Office.
