Asian Art week on Tourism and Film to be held in Zhejiang’s Taizhou

Taizhou, as a coastal city in Zhejiang province, will open the First Asian Art week on Tourism and Film in July. On May 23rd, the local officials have held its first preparatory meeting. Based on the meeting’s purpose, this art week will help boost the tourism and film industries in Taizhou City.

 

The art week was co-organized by the China TV Artists Association, the Zhejiang administration of press, publication, radio, film and television and the Taizhou government. During the art week, a series of forums and exhibitions activities will be held. In addition, hundreds of film and television art works from Russia, Japan, South Korea and Malaysia will be displayed as well.

 

As an international event, the art week aims to enhance the tourism and cultural communications across Asian countries. It can also help to show Taizhou’s latest and great achievements in tourism and film industries. It has the great significance in improving the Taizhou's influence across the world.

 

Taizhou has rich tourism resources, such as the Tiantai Mountain, which is famous for its beautiful sceneries and Chinese Buddhism culture, and Shenxianju Scenic Area, which is popular for the shaped mountain peaks, rocks and waterfalls. The perfect traveling resource is also the reason that the film industry develops rapidly in Taizhou these years. The Asian Art week shows to the world that Taizhou has the confidence to enhance the competitiveness of tourism and culture industry.
