Just a 0.5-hour-drive from the Badaling Remnant Great Wall lies the Yeyahu Wetland Park, Beijing's largest wetland natural reserve. Up to 280 species of wetland birds live here with the extensive and tranquil reedbeds.

Pay a half-day visit to the Beijing Horticultural Expo. After lunch, you will return to Beijing downtown.

The Beijing Horticultural Expo is the largest international event China has held since the 2010 Shanghai Expo. The Expo runs from April 29th to October 7th, 2019 in Yanqing District of Beijing just at the foot of the Great Wall. Some 110 countries, international organizations, China’s province-level regions, businesses and individuals will showcase a wide variety of flowers, vegetables and herbs, including rare and endangered plant species.
