There are nearly 30 regular trains between Guangzhou and Guilin. 3 of them are G trains (High-speed EMU Train) and 28 D trains (EMU Train), and the rest one is the K train (Fast Train)
Both G and D train leave from Guangzhou South Railway Station and arrive at Guilin North Railway Station. The whole journey is about 3 hours.

From Guangzhou to Guilin
G and D trains depart every 30 - 60 minutes from 7:35 to 20:00 in Guangzhou so you could easily choose any train which fits your travel schedule.
From Guilin to Guangzhou
G and D trains depart every 30 - 60 minutes from 8:00 to 18:27 in Guilin so you could easily choose any train which fits your travel schedule.
Facilities on Board
All the G/D trains have 2nd class, 1st class, VIP class seats, and a dining carriage. There are 5 seats in a row for‘2nd class’ and 4 seats in a row for ‘1st class’. Obviously, 1st class is more comfortable and has more room for legs than the 2nd class. In addition, there is a power socket under every seat in the‘1st class’ carriage.
