Day 1 Huangshan - Mount Qiyun
You will be picked up from Huangshan airport or train station, then take a 40-minute car ride to Mount Qiyun.
Upon arrival, take the cable car up to Mount Qiyun (the ride takes about 10 minutes) to reach the halfway point of the mountain.
Then, continue on foot to visit Wangxian Pavilion and Zhenxian Cave Mansion. The mountain features over 1,000 cliff inscriptions, of which 538 remain today - a rare cultural treasure in China.
Afterwards, check into a guest house on the mountain. Each guest house has six to eight guest rooms, and depending on your group size, we will arrange for you to stay in one guest house or two adjacent ones.
Day 2 Mount Qiyun
Start your day by joining the village elders for meditation and stance-standing exercises in the early morning, immersing yourself in the practice of Chinese Tai Chi.
Later in the morning, hike to Wulao Peak, Ziyun Pass, and Fangla Stockade to explore these secluded spots, then visit the Mysterious Danxia Corridor to witness the unique Danxia landform.
In the afternoon, spend time at Yuehua Tianjie, a traditional Taoist village perched on the cliffs. With 28 households, it blends Taoist temples and rustic homes, where the scent of burning incense mingles with the aroma of home-cooked meals, creating a unique living street.
Stop by a local farmer’s house to savor tea and learn about Chinese tea culture.
Day 3 Mount Qiyun - Huangshan Departure
Today, step into Yuxu Palace, a striking Taoist temple with crimson walls carved into the cliffside where you’ll explore Chinese Feng Shui culture.
Later, follow the teacher to learn traditional Chinese calligraphy in the guest house, trying to write the Chinese character “福 (Fu)” , symbolizing good fortune.
After Chinese lunch, head to the cable car station to go down the mountain.
The journey concludes with a 40-minute drive, either to Huangshan train station for your return journey or to your hotel in Huangshan.
