Xi'an receives over 100 million visitors in 2013

According to the local tourist bureau, Xi'an, one of China's oldest and most historical cities, capital of west China's Shaanxi Province, received more than 100 million visitors in 2013.

 

 

The number of visitors both domestic and overseas hit 101.3 million in 2013. Income from tourism topped 81 billion Yuan (12.8 billion U.S. dollars). International tourists continued to rise in 2013, with the United States the biggest overseas source, up almost 8 percent last year.
