New direct flight opens in Lhasa

According to China West Air, a new direct air route opens between Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, and Heifei, the capital city of central China’s Anhui Province.

 

The new flight operates two round-trip flights daily. The flight PN6393 departs from Lhasa Kongga International Airport at 09:30 am and arrives at Hefei Xinqiao International Airport at 13:00 pm. The return flight PN6394 will leave Hefei at 13:50 p.m. and arrive in Lhasa at 17:45.

 

Anhui Province has providing assistance to Shannan region and three counties of Cona, Comai and Nakartsein Tibet since 2002. A total of 2.032 billion RMB of aid funds has been invested in Tibet and 416 assistance projects have been implemented, which has greatly promoted the economic and social development of Shannan city.

 

This new flight is the first direct air route between Lhasa and Hefei. In the future, the flight will attract more visitors to Lhasa, and then further promote the economic and cultural exchanges between Tibet Autonomous Region and Anhui Province.
