Zhengzhou Museum opens exhibition on archaeological discoveries

On August 27th, the exhibition focus on archaeological discoveries and research achievements in Henan in the past 70 years opens at Zhengzhou Museum in Central China's Henan Province.

 

The exhibition displays 1,225 sets of exhibits to the public and will last until November 27th. The exhibition is co-hosted by Henan Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics and Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. It is co-organized by Zhengzhou Museum and Henan Provincial Institute of Culture Heritage and Archaeology.

 

According to Li Boxuan, the professor of Peking University, and also the chief scientist of Xia Shang Zhou Chronology Project, this exhibition represents the outstanding achievements of Henan archaeological work. It also helps to restore and describe the 5,000-year-history.

 

Zhengzhou City is an outstanding tourist city and one of the eight Chinese ancient cities. Located between the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River, Zhengzhou is the cradle of the splendid Chinese culture. The Yellow River Scenic Area in Zhengzhou is a good place to experience the culture of Yellow River.
