Xilingol Nadam Fair is to be held in Xilingol League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from August 5 to 9. As natural grassland, Xilingol grassland possesses original ecological grassland landscapes, profound Mongolian culture, as well as rich ethnic folk customs.
Nadam, meaning entertainment and playing in Mongolian language, is a folk festival of the Mongolian ethnic group. During the event, local residents participate in activities like horse racing, archery and Mongolian wrestling.
The Nadam fair in Hulun Buir embraced its grand opening ceremony on 16 July, showing the costumes, culture and their optimistic state of mind through performances, thus attracting visitors to appreciate and participate in the event.
